Y-DNA
Test Results
These are the Y-DNA results to-date of the
Chimpanzee and Bonobo participants, along with various human samples for
comparisons.
More detail about the Chimpanzee and Bonobo results are listed on their
respective pages. Newer results have a purple
block to the left of the kit number. Normally, the
Modal
Hyplotype is what we believe the Y-DNA of "original" common
Chimpanzee
ancestor looked like. However, since the time frame involved is so great and
the samples are so few, it only represents what our Chimpanzee participant's
typical Hyplotype appears to be.
Red cells show where an individual varies from
the modal. Combined pink cells represent "connected" markers where the
actual difference is counted as one. |
